Slitting is a critical process used to cut wide-width coils into narrower coils according to customer specifications. During this process, the main coil is passed through a slitter, which cuts it into the desired widths. These narrow-width coils are then rewound onto a recoiler, creating multiple narrower coils ready for customer use.
once we receive the steel coil from the customer, our highly qualified quality controllers carefully inspect the coil's length, width, and thickness using precision measuring instruments. Only after this thorough inspection is the coil processed for slitting according to the exact sizes specified by the customer, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
After the slitting process, we verify the slit width using digital vernier calipers to ensure the width aligns with the customer’s exact requirements. Through these rigorous quality checks, we maintain the highest standards in every aspect of our operations.
